Eric Griggs joins an already established management team at Brownell & Co., consisting of President Tony Ferraz, Executive VP Sharon Rose, VP of Administration Cindy Stackowitz, Information Systems Tom Ferraz and Plant Manager Melissa Norton.
With a strong background in sales and marketing as well as an extensive understanding of the bowstring industry, Griggs will focus on the planning and development of Brownell’s sales and marketing activities. Griggs will also play an instrumental role in the research and development of new products.
Griggs is an avid hunter and top professional archer with several titles and dozens of top three finishes to his credit. He was introduced to archery in 1991 by his father and began making his own bowstrings very soon after. Griggs began shooting professionally in 1999 after winning multiple national and world championship titles as an amateur.
In 2004 Griggs started his own bowstring company where he gained a wealth of experience while developing and testing processes for the construction of high quality bowstrings and cables. Griggs would later sell his bowstring company and take a position with Scott Archery Mfg. as their assistant manager where he was responsible for the company’s sales and marketing duties for the last four years.
