In the 2-minute Facebook video below, Taylor Drury, daughter of Mark Drury of Drury Outdoors fame, has crept to a field edge for a stubborn longbear. The tom struts and drums but never gobbles, at least in the footage shown here. Thanks to Mark’s seductive hen calls, the big bird eventually drifts into shotgun range.
According to the description on Facebook, Taylor’s gobbler weighed 29 pounds and had 1.5-inch spurs. There’s no doubt it’s a GIGANTIC bird!
