LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Father Hupp Wildlife Management Area in southeast Nebraska's Thayer County has reopened to public use.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says a wetland renovation and development project has been completed. The department will be reseeding the bermed dikes and islands.

The department says the enhancement of this wetland area, which sits two miles west of Bruning, will greatly increase its use by waterfowl and provide more opportunities for hunters.
