The Facebook page Hunter Nation shared some of its top posts of the year in late December 2025, and the one highlighted below ranked No. 1. According to the post, this 10-second trail cam clip was the 2025 Trailcampro Video Contest winner, and after you watch it you’ll understand why.
Be sure to turn up the sound for best viewing. You’ll hear the hen turkey putt when she spots the predator and then flushes, as well as the sound of her trying to fight off the cat with her wings. Spoiler — she was unsuccessful.
Check out the bobcat’s impressive vertical leap — it totally leaves the camera’s view — and the rain of feathers that slowly drift to the ground. This is just another example of the amazing moments that can be captured by trail cams.
