Daisy Unveils New Archery/Crossbow Line

A name synonymous with involving youth in shooting sports, Daisy has jumped into the youth bow/crossbow manufacturing arena. According to sources at the NWTF Convention Center and Sports Show, which took place at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, from February 12-15, throngs of people stopped by to take their first shot with Daisy’s new longbow, compound bow and crossbow.

“Having Daisy’s new longbow and crossbow at this convention is a great way for young people and JAKES program leaders to try these products,” said Joe Murfin, Daisy’s vice president of public relations. “We look forward to knowledgeable NWTF chapter leaders throughout the country teaching young people recreational shooting and archery skills with Daisy equipment.”

Products in the new Daisy bow line include a shoot-through-riser longbow as well as a shoot-through-riser compound. The new compound features a draw-weight range of 13 to 19 pounds (depending on cam positon) and is loaded with features for the smaller-framed archer.

The Daisy Youth Crossbow is light and features a mechanical safety which engages when the crossbow is cocked. The draw weight on this horizontal bow is 29 pounds – ideal for training younger shooters.
