Buck Commander team member and Washington Nationals free-agent first baseman Adam LaRoche is no stranger to posting his trophy photos on the interwebs. But his latest social media push will certainly have most big game hunters “camo” with envy.
LaRoche posted a photo of a beauty bull elk taken with a rifle in the mountains of Wyoming on his Twitter page Nov. 5. It looks as if the pro baseballer was on a multi-day trip with his fellow (now former) Nationals teammate Ryan Langerhans and a few other of the Buck Commander crew.
Thank you Lord for the Rocky Mountain Elk! #BuckCommander pic.twitter.com/GFJdiJhvuk

It remains to be seen whether LaRoche gets cyber bullied like his female compatriots in the social media hunting world, but in what looks like a bit of a parody, Nationals pitcher Dan Haren lamented the big kill.
@e3laroche poor elk, just minding his own business eating some leaves and boom, dead. Atleast you're having fun.
