SPRO Dean Rojas Bronzeye Poppin’ Frog 70

Popping frog action has just been super-sized with the SPRO Dean Rojas Bronzeye Poppin’ Frog 70.

SPRO Dean Rojas Bronzeye Poppin’ Frog 70

Designed by fishing pro and frog fishing pioneer, Dean Rojas, the SPRO Dean Rojas Bronzeye Poppin’ Frog 70 is the largest popping frog in SPRO’s Bronzeye Poppin’ Frog line-up, designed for catching big bass. Featuring the same shape and body profile as the original Bronzeye Poppin’ Frog 60 — just bigger — it casts like a bullet and allows anglers to reach those areas where big bass hang out. Once it hits the water, it is weighted to sit upright, and its oversized cupped mouth creates a loud chugging and spitting action that attracts fish from long distance. Its longer profile allows it to easily “walk the dog” in open water with the slightest rod twitch, and it can even be used over the top of heavy mats and vegetation. It is armed with a 5/0 Gamakatsu EWG Double Frog hook that delivers lightning-fast hook penetration and enough power to pull lunker-sized bass out of the thickest cover. Finished with a set of living rubber legs that add even more action, the 2.75-inch (not including legs) Poppin’ Frog 70 weighs .75 ounces and is available in a wide selection of colors. MSRP: $12.55.
