Diehard predator hunter Alex Wiggs of Missouri dropped us a note about his cool hunt in the gorgeous Ozarks where he dropped two curious songdogs.

Wiggs has a solid video channel with some great action, including hits and misses. Here's his note he sent us on the spring decoy double:

Double down! Nice frosty morning. Had them come right up behind me, then circle around to my left and started barking at my Fawnzy decoy. Then in about three minutes one of the two coyotes appeared at the entrance to the adjacent field just barking its head off at Fawnzy. Had time to zoom my scope in to high power and dropped it at about 150 yards.

I decided to sit tight and silence for about four minutes after the pup distress sequence. Then I started up the Devil Bunny call on the FOXPRO and the second one popped out to my left in about two minutes at about eighty yards.

If you haven't checked out the Fawnzy, it's part of the Montana Decoys lineup. They're lightweight, realistic and doggone effective.
