Twice before on this website I’ve highlighted the amazing cakes designed by Dusty Sinclair of Sugarbelle Sweets in Corpus Christi, Texas. The first time I discussed a life-sized whitetail cake (below) she made for a wedding. Click here to learn more about it. The finished masterpiece weighed more than 130 pounds! As I’ve stated before, when it comes to making specialty cakes with an outdoor theme, Dusty Sinclair is second to none. But even I was shocked to see the recent duck-themed cake shown here.

Here’s what she wrote on Facebook about one of her latest creations:

“Sculpted pintail and redhead duck chocolate/red velvet cake! Paired with chocolate leather duck strap, screw, duck call and shotgun shells. All chocolate! One of my favorite returning customers orders a custom sculpted cake every year for her son’s birthday. This year’s design did not disappoint. Happy 10th birthday to this little hunter!”
