CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say anglers pulled in some record fish last year.
Four record catches were announced Friday as part of the winners of the 2013 Trophy Fish Program.
They are a 41-pound common carp that was taken while bow fishing in Hinsdale; a 3-pound 20-inch common white sucker caught in Center Harbor; a 1-pound 14-inch black sea bass caught in Portsmouth and a 26-pound 44-inch northern pike taken in Dalton.
The Trophy Fish Program recognizes kept and released fish in 22 freshwater species and seven saltwater species categories.
The 2013 entries are listed on the department's website.
