PANGUITCH, Utah (AP) — Authorities in Garfield County say they were stunned after a three-point buck crashed through the front of a woman's travel trailer and later leaped out with no apparent injuries.
Garfield County deputies say they got a call about 3 p.m. Sunday from a woman who said she'd hit something on U.S. Route 89.
Conservation officer Micah Evans responded and found a hole the size of a 50-gallon drum on the front of the trailer, but no blood.
Officials say Evans opened the door of the trailer and found a deer that appeared to be fine inside.
Evans pulled out his camera to snap a picture, but the flash startled the animal and sent it jumping out the vehicle.
Deputies say the buck then leaped over a fence and pranced away.
