Elections have consequences, and America has now experienced a hard turn to the left. The looming question: How will this affect hunting and gun ownership?

Ultimately, one side will win and the other side will lose.

The whole world has gone bonkers to the degree that anti-hunters have all but gone underground. Or have they simply kicked back in tag-team fashion while their anti-gun brethren grab the spotlight in the midst of the global pandemic?

Lest folks begin to think that everything involving the anti-hunters is doom and gloom, there are points of light from time to time.

If the only information the majority of non-hunters receive puts hunters and hunting in a bad light, it will be easy for the unassuming public to play along with the antis. If that happens, we lose and hunting ends. It’s that simple.

Once upon a time in America, common sense was, well, common. It is not so anymore.

Neither total victory nor defeat happens immediately. The first step toward victory, however, needs to be a realization among hunters about what kind of enemies we face and what that means now and into the future.

Yes, they really are out to get us – the anti-hunters, that is. The antis hate all hunters and hold a special place in their version of hell for predator hunters.
