Chuck Adams is America’s most widely published bowhunter and famous for being the first archer to harvest all varieties of North American big game—a feat called the “Super Slam”. Adams has tagged more official Pope and Young animals than anyone else in history, including five Pope and Young Club world records. During the past few decades, he’s been a regular contributor to Bowhunting World magazine.

Chuck’s first official P&Y animal: Canada moose, October 1976. Adams was using a Bear Alaskan compound. “My old friend Fred Bear sent me one to try out, and I really liked it,” he said.

For Adams, this was No. 203 in the Pope and Young Club record book. “I now have eight fair-chase bison entered in P&Y,” he said. “The buff is one of my favorite animals...a lot harder to hunt in the wild than most people would imagine.”

Adams has recently launched a new website, www.chuckadamsarchery.com, which features photos from his most memorable bowhunts, rare bowhunting memorabilia, unique archery products, and a regular hunting blog that will include controversial topics. Adams says that his vintage Easton and Super Slam posters (below) have been especially popular.
