The last Monday in May, Memorial Day, is a United States holiday to honor those men and women of the U.S. military who died serving our country. (FYI: Veterans Day, which is always observed on November 11, honors all those who served in the U.S. military, during times of war or peace, whether they died or survived.) 

Memorial Day weekend is seen as the unofficial start to summer, and chances are good you’re spending today with family and friends. At some point this Memorial Day, please pause and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms — your freedoms.

I believe the 96-second tribute video below from Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC), which is veteran owned and operated, captures Memorial Day perfectly.

BRCC wrote on its Facebook page when they introduced this video for Memorial Day 2017: “We will not forget, and we will not falter in honoring the men and women of this great nation who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.”

P.S. Maybe it's just me, but the video was even more powerful the second time I watched it.
