In a recent video/article, we showcased three new-for-2019 products from Dead Down Wind (two for use in the shower, one for the laundry). We found another product from this company at the 2019 Archery Trade Association (ATA) Show that is worth highlighting, and it’s called the Dead Zone.
Ozone is a proven sanitizer, and that’s why it’s used in a wide variety of places, everywhere from nursing homes to hospitals. Ozone can also help keep your hunting clothing odor-free.
The new Dead Zone from Dead Down Wind is a high-output ozone generator that also uses UV light in a two-step cleaning process. On the high setting, it produces 500 mg/h of ozone; on low, 250 mg/h. Dead Zone can be used as a stand-alone unit in a closet or vehicle, or hooked up to an optional heavy-duty weather-proof gear bag to treat your clothing prior to a hunt.
Featuring a detachable rechargeable battery that provides up to 6 hours of run time, Dead Zone has a MSRP of $249; with the gear bag, the combo will cost $299.
