Looking to make a career out of building archery gear? Archery accessories specialist Quality Archery Designs has been a leader in the archery industry since it began in 1992, and the company continues to deepen its roots and expand its team. Currently, QAD is seeking a self-motivated, driven individual to become its Lead Engineer & Technical Director.

Aside from a Bachelor's degree in a related field, applicants must possess five to seven years of experience as well as excellent time and project management skills. Candidates must also be able to create parts, assemblies, and drawings surfaces for existing QAD products including CNC-machined, injection-molded, screw machine parts and hardware items. Other essential skill sets include expertise in tooling, processing, CNC-milling, Swiss lathe machining, and electrical and mechanical equipment control and interface.

Software requirements for the position include Solid Works, Auto CAD, MAYA, and Microsoft Word. People skills are also a must. Aside from implementing and approving product changes, the chosen employee will be expected to work hand-in-hand with the QAD marketing department and will report directly to the company president.
