Daiwa’s next generation of BG spinning reels, the BG MQ, features a one piece Monocoque aluminum body and was designed for everything from inshore to heavy offshore fishing.

The BG MQ series includes models that are a great match for speckled trout to models made to withstand the pressures of fishing giant bluefin tuna. The reels are built on an all-aluminum frame and employ Daiwa’s Digigear technology — with gears that are 20 to 40 percent larger than similar reels on the market.

The gears also feature a larger tooth pattern, giving them a much longer life.
