VIDEO: Hunting ducks and geese in Saskatchewan

September in Saskatchewan is every waterfowler's dream come true. The birds are plentiful and uneducated to the point of being downright stupid sometimes, as the migration is just starting. The weather hasn't gotten cold, the fields still hold abundant food from the recent harvest, and ducks and geese just can't get enough. A hunter willing to put in the effort to set a good spread and hide well can experience incredible shooting opportunities.

I experienced it firsthand on a recent trip to Saskatchewan with the team at Hard Core Brands. The weather was reminiscent of early teal season in the South — it was so warm that we hunted in t-shirts and shorts one evening! We laid out a spread of Hard Core ducks and geese, both Canadas and snows, and hammered the birds in the dry fields. Check out a little of the action for yourself in this video.
