Sitka Ambient Jacket

The new Sitka Ambient jacket adapts to changing weather conditions.

Sitka Ambient Jacket

The new Sitka Ambient jacket — available in men’s and women’s versions — is engineered to adapt to changing weather conditions and levels of activity. This means when users are static and temperatures are low, it insulates to deliver warmth. When wearers are active or temperatures rise, it breathes well to expel heat. The Ambient jacket is constructed with post-consumer recycled PrimaLoft Evolve insulation (150 grams), 20 denier ripstop nylon fabric for durability, a DWR finish for enhanced weather protection and mechanical stretch to provide comfort and a full range of motion. Additionally, Sitka strategically designed the jacket without a traditional liner, making the garments two layers instead of the commonly used three-layer construction. This unique design creates a more efficient transfer of heat and moisture.
