First popularized in the South Texas brush country, tripod stands have been popping up all over the country in recent years — and with good reason. They are self-supporting and can be set up virtually anywhere there is reasonably level ground, enabling both gun and bowhunters to erect stands where there are no suitable trees. Millennium Treestands T100 and T360 tripods are excellent examples.

The T100 10-foot ultralight tripod weighs only 36 pounds and can be set up in less than a minute. One leg of the tripod is height-adjustable, so the stand can be leveled on uneven ground, and its comfortMAX seat swivels 360 degrees. There is also an optional 4-foot height extension available.

The T360 16-foot tripod stand features steel construction with an impermeable powder coat finish and includes a padded shooting rail and camo skirt with two gear pockets. It also has one adjustable leg for uneven terrain leveling, and its lift-up 360-degree seat is designed to accept Revolution accessories and extra-large ladder steps to provide more stable footing. MSRP: $409.99/T100; $429.99/T360. Contact: www.millenniumstands.com
