Working Dogs, Calls for Open-Country Coyotes

Al Morris and Levi Johnson with Foxpro put a series of calls and dogs to work against a wily coyote in Montana.

Working Dogs, Calls for Open-Country Coyotes

Watching hunting dogs work is a joy, whether they're in a field snuffling out rabbits, scenting upland birds, pursuing bears or raccoons, or working coyotes into range.

It takes training, of course, and a relationship between the handler and dogs. No big news there. Hunters for centuries have used dogs for game pursuits. Coyote hunting with hounds takes things up a notch when you have a mix of wary songdogs wondering what's going on.

Watch as Foxpro's Al Morris and Levi Johnson round out their hunt in Montana playing cat and mouse with a canny coyote in this episode of Foxpro Hunting TV.
