Dallas and Katherine Peebles are the owners of Peebles Farm, which is located in northeast Arkansas, halfway between Augusta and McCrory on Hwy 64. For the $10 admission, visitors can enjoy getting lost in the maze and then trying to find their way out.

Maps of the deer-themed corn maze are provided, and it typically takes about 30 minutes to walk it during the day. Note: Peebles Farm is opened until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, so if you want a real challenge, try completing the corn maze in the dark.

Using the deer diagram as a guide, the growing corn was chopped when it was knee high. Sunlight, moisture and time then turned it into a maze of tall corn stalks.

Think you’re a good marksman with a firearm or bow? Then visit Peebles Farm and give the corn cannon a shot. It uses compressed air to shoot an ear of corn at a target. Shots are $1.00 each, and if you hit the target, you win any pumpkin of your choice. The corn cannon is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday during regular business hours.
