Mission Archery New Bows For 2014

Most bowhunters would like to reap the flat-shooting benefits that an increase in bow speed can provide, but not everyone has the means or desire to throw down $1,000 or more for the latest premium bow.

The answer? It just might be a high-value bow company like Mission Archery, which benefits greatly from the cutting edge technology of its brother company, Mathews Inc.

Mission Blaze New Bows 2014Blaze

Not every bowhunter knows Mission is very high on the most-bows-sold list, but it is. Bows like Mission’s new Blaze are one reason. Employing the Perimeter Weighted AVS cam system used on last year’s very successful Ballistic, it provides 80 percent letoff and launches arrows at 340 fps. It’s got a lot of Mathews/Mission technology in the form of Harmonic Stabilizers, String Grubs, and a String Stop for super-quiet shooting. The walnut grip adds a little class to the Blaze. Draw lengths are 26 to 30 inches, modular in half-inch increments (naturally adjustable without a press), and draw weight adjusts from 50 to 70 pounds. It’s 33 inches axle to axle with a 6-inch brace height and a mass weight of 4.2 pounds. With finish options of Lost Camo AT or Black, it’s a flagship bow that sells for $559.
