CanCooker appoints David Langston VP of Sales

CanCooker President Seth McGinn announced in April the appointment of marketing guru David Langston to the position of vice president of sales and marketing for the company. In this newly created position, Langston will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing departments with direct responsibility for the development and implementation of sales, branding, messaging, and market/product development efforts for domestic and international markets. This position plans, directs, and manages all sales and marketing strategies, functions, policies, objectives and initiatives. He will report directly to McGinn.

A marketing leader in the outdoor industry with more than a decade of solid experience, Langston most recently served as the director of sales and marketing at Hunter Safety System from 2005 until 2013. Prior to that, he was the director of sales and marketing for Muzzy Products Corporation from 2001 to 2005.

“David has a proven track record developing and executing incredibly successful sales and marketing plans that have produced record growth for the companies he’s worked with in the past,” said McGinn. “We fully expect that his unique skill set and thorough understanding of the market will enable CanCooker to excel in delivering the best outdoor cooking products and total satisfaction to our customers at both the business and consumer levels.”

Langston’s position is effective immediately. He will remain in Alabama where the sales and marketing offices will be headquartered.
