Great New Bow Gear—Part 3

This reporter and Bowhunting World Editor Mike Strandlund (with knife) were among several of the Archery Business/Grand View Media Group team taking time to celebrate the 60-year anniversary of Bowhunting World magazine with many other show attendees.

The lightest hunting boots ever? Rocky’s Steve Graham held up two candidates: the Ultralight (right, under 1 pound per boot!) and Midweight models in the new Rocky Athletic Mobility line—which also includes separate levels of great-looking camo apparel.

Among their wide-ranging gear offerings spanning several categories the innovators at Primos are consistent winners of the Bowhunting World Readers’ Choice awards for turkey, elk, and deer calls—and also captured the top spot in ground blinds for 2012.

It’s always great to see our industry contributing to deserving causes—like the $15,085 check presented by Burt Coyote Co. founders Curtis and Eric Price to Mary Hale and the cancer-fighting Pink Arrow Project. The funds were raised via sales of the new-in-2011 pink-colored Lumenoks that continue for 2012.
