Many anglers don’t have big boats and fancy electronics, but that doesn’t mean they can’t catch fish during fall, especially walleyes in small rivers. Even shore anglers can catch fall walleyes if they look for the specific locations explained in the 1-minute YouTube video below.
A tip not covered in the video: Neoprene waders will keep you warm and allow you to reach out a bit farther than standing on dry ground, but great care must be taken to avoid disaster. You don’t want to fall into a cold river and have your waders fill with water.
