Legendary archer Levi Morgan recently posted a 40-second YouTube video asking viewers: How far was this shot?
He’s shooting a Mathews ARC 34 (he mistakenly says 33) and LRP Arrow System at about 300 fps. The target is a 3-D red stag, and as you’ll see, Morgan centerpunches it.
Morgan doesn’t have a mark on his slider sight for this distance, and through previous shots (I assume) he learns that he must aim for the top of the stag’s antler.
At the time of this writing, Morgan hasn’t revealed the exact distance. I scrolled through hundreds of comments and the guesses generally range from 150 to 200 yards.
Your guess?
