PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (AP) — Police are blaming a 4-legged suspect of causing about $3,000 worth of damage at a Long Island restaurant.
They say a surveillance camera caught a deer crashing through the front window of the Harbor Crab restaurant in Patchogue early Thursday morning.
Manager Kathleen Donish told WCBS-TV that benches were torn up and there was some blood on the windows.
A cleaning crew found the deer when they arrived in the morning.
The deer was not hurt and was set free after being captured.
