CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Wildlife officials are asking residents in a handful of western and northwestern Wyoming towns to be mindful of moose and other wildlife that may show up in neighborhoods.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says it has received more reports of moose in residential areas in Jackson, Wilson and Pinedale this winter.
The Casper Star-Tribune suggests that residents photograph the animals from a distance, never crowd or feed wildlife and make sure no moose are around when letting pets out of the house.
