Sauer and Sohn recently launched the Sauer 505 bolt-action rifle, featuring a robust, newly designed steel chassis, silky-smooth bolt cycling and interchangeable, cold hammer forged precision barrels that allow for quick and easy caliber changes. Hunters can select between four pre-set trigger weights from 0.77 to 2.75 pounds. The rifle’s manual cocking system is safe, lightweight, quiet and easy on the thumb, and its quick detach Blaser saddle mount is designed to ensure the scope can be taken off the Sauer 505 and put back on while maintaining the precise point of aim without having to re-zero. An integrated MagLock safety prevents unwanted triggering of the magazine button. The rifle comes in four stock options. MSRP: Starting at $3,500.
