Ruger Hawkeye Hunter

Built for versatility, style and performance, the Ruger Hawkeye Hunter has a classic American walnut stock and free-floated, cold hammer-forged threaded stainless-steel barrel with a factory-installed Picatinny rail. It is available in seven chamberings for right-handed shooters, and two chamberings (6.5 Creedmoor and 300 Win. Mag.) for left-handed shooters.

The Hawkeye Hunter’s non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor features a fixed blade-type ejector that positively ejects empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward, and its three-position safety is easily accessible and allows the shooter to lock the bolt or to load and unload the rifle with the safety engaged. Barrel length is 20 inches for 308 Win.; 22 inches for 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC and 30-06; and 24 inches for 204 Ruger, 7mm Rem. Mag. and 300 Win. Mag. MSRP: $1,099. Contact: www.ruger.com
