Rifle hunting in Alabama is on its way to becoming much quieter.
The American Silencer Association reports that the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries has recommended to the Alabama Conservation Advisory Board that hunters be allowed to use legally possessed suppressors in pursuit of game.
The issue still needs to be finalized, but the American Silencer Association expects no obstacles to Heart of Dixie becoming the 30th state in the country to allow hunters to use suppressed rifles in the field.
