KOA Tactical, a Division of Knives of Alaska, Inc. is now delivering three new knives in their “Automatic Series” that include the Night Hawk, the Recon Patrol, and Strike Force. All three employ a unique torsion bar spring system designed and manufactured at the company’s Texas manufacturing plant from 17-4 stainless spring steel.

“The lock and spring system are smooth and strong and extremely fast, and the recessed button release is very safe to carry and operate,” said company president Charles Allen. “The handles for all three are CNC milled from either layered O.D. green or black G-10 for toughness and long-term stability and the D2 blades are tempered to a hardness of RcH 60-62 giving the user exceptional cutting ability.”

The smallest, the Night Hawk at $104.99, weighs in at only 1.6 oz. and has a 2.37” blade. Both the Recon Patrol and Strike Force, at $139.99, weigh 3.1 oz. each with 3” length blades, and are available with either smooth or partial blade serrations. Recon and Strike Force both have reversible carry clips for either right or left hand operation. The military and law enforcement models both have solid black clips.
