If you’re a fan of Bone Collector and Realtree Roadtrips, then you certainly know T-Bone; his full name is Travis Turner. What you might not know is T-Bone has serious archery skills, not only as a competitive shooter (former outdoor 3-D world champion; four-time Georgia state champ), but also as a bow technician. He was the archery manager of Southern Shooters in LaGrange, Georgia, a premier outdoor store, and still provides bowhunters and target shooters with helpful tips on getting the most from their equipment.

In the Facebook video below, T-Bone demonstrates the correct method for waxing a bowstring. He also provides advice on how often you should wax a string based on how much you shoot.
