One thing the Bowhunting World and Archery Business team prides itself in doing is heading afield with the industry's leading manufacturers to "torture test" new products in real-life hunting situations.

This past December BW/AB staffers Mark Melotik, Derrick Nawrocki, and Bob Robb spent a week in northern Arizona bowhunting mule deer with Archer Xtreme's Mark Garcia to test some of AXT's new-for-2014 innovations. The terrain was rough and conditions tough, but the AXT products proved up to the task.
