PLYMOUTH, Pa. (AP) — Officials say two deer caused thousands of dollars damage after leaping through the window of a northeastern Pennsylvania flower shop, rampaging inside and then jumping out through another window.
Susan Gryziec, owner of “Flowers And...'” in Plymouth, says the animals probably did more damage than a car would have done.
She says the deer ran through one window Thursday night and tried to get out through the rear of the shop. The animals then came back to the front, leaving a trail of smashed displays and merchandise before jumping through the other window.
The owners say they have to throw out most of the floral arrangements that were out on display because they have glass shards in them. They say they are considering installing deer-resistant windows.
