Legacy Sports International has announced Howa 1500 rifle offerings chambered in the new .25 Creedmoor cartridge, a fast-moving quarter-bore round designed to bridge the gap between varmint, big-game and precision shooting applications. Built around a 1:7.5-inch twist rate, the cartridge is designed to stabilize today’s long, high-BC bullets while still offering the velocity advantages quarter-bore fans have long appreciated. Legacy Sports describes the .25 Creedmoor as a “Triple Threat” cartridge capable of handling everything from varmints and predators to deer-size game and long-range target work. Current offerings include 22-inch standard and 24-inch heavy-barrel configurations, both threaded for suppressor or muzzle-device use. Howa 1500 barreled actions are available in multiple stock configurations, including Hogue, Walnut, Walnut DLX, Fenceline and APC Chassis options. Reported handload velocities range from 3,519 fps with 75-grain bullets to 2,686 fps with 133-grain projectiles. MSRP: Varies by model. Contact: www.legacysports.com
