PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona wildlife officials are seeking ideas on how to spend $30,000 in grant money.
The Arizona Game and Fish Department has announced it is seeking grant proposals through mid-March for its Heritage Grant awards.
The agency says it can award grants in two categories, environmental education and outdoor education.
Applicants are urged to review the eligibility application forms at the agency's website to see the goals and objectives for the categories.
The grants are financed by revenue from Arizona Lottery sales.
The Heritage Fund was established by voters in 1990 to help with conservation efforts.
Game and Fish is accepting proposals electronically and by mail through March 14, 5 p.m.
