Apex Ammunition’s new Waterfowl Stratified S3 Steel loads pair different sizes of zinc-coated steel shot in each payload, giving hunters more pellets for close and mid-range birds while retaining energy at longer distances. The layered payload is intended to provide dense pattern coverage as shooting distances change, an approach Apex developed in response to feedback from waterfowl hunters. Available in 12- and 20-gauge, shot combinations include No. 2/No. 4 and No. 4/No. 6, with a BB/No. 2 option offered exclusively in 12-gauge. The loads are assembled in the USA and sold in 25-round boxes, giving duck and goose hunters a non-toxic steel option for varying field conditions. MSRP: $26.99-$27.99/Box of 25.
