Q Erector .22LR suppressor review

In this suppressor review, we field test the Q Erector. It's a highly modular suppressor designed to give the shooter the suppression they need and want.
Q Erector .22LR suppressor review

The Q Erector is a unique suppressor both in looks and design. The Erector is built with 10 baffles, which can be removed to give you the length and sound suppression desired. The entire suppressor is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, except for the metallic blue-colored blast baffle, which is made of stainless steel. You’ll also notice the Erector is a light tan color, which varies from the many black-colored suppressors on the market.

Perhaps the biggest surprise that you’ll notice with the Q Erector is its weight. I was shocked when I took it out of the box and held it in my hand. It literally feels like air. At its longest configuration of 7.6 inches it only weighs 2.6 ounces. This is fantastic when outfitted on the end of a smaller .22LR.

I was impressed with the sound reduction of the Q Erector. I ran supersonic rounds through it and it definitely took the bite out of the audible blast. Unfortunately, in the video I was shooting into a large hillside which echoed the supersonic crack back toward the camera.

In the field, there was quite a bit of difference in sound reduction. The Q Erector is rated for .22LR and less. It is not full-auto rated and not rated for calibers larger than .22LR.

The Q Erector sells for $475 at www.silencershop.com.
