Speakers

Trevon Stoltzfus Western Big Game Hunting Success

A former collegiate and freestyle wrestler and professional bull rider, Trevon Stoltzfus was born and raised in southern New Mexico. There he had the privilege of working as an elk, mule deer and antelope guide. From an early age the love of hunting, fishing and the outdoors was instilled in him through his grandfather, uncles and older cousins. Trevon passionately continues to share his adventures in print and seminars, and as the host of the popular TV Show Outback Outdoors on the Sportsman Channel. Trevon works tirelessly to help others find their WILD..

Zach Bowhay Planning and Executing a DIY Elk Hunt in the West

A well-published, Western big-game hunting writer and successful Western big-game hunter, Zach has taken multiple big-game species in nearly every Rocky Mountain state. Zach is an expert elk caller and is highly regarded in the Western-hunting community for both his calling abilities and his methods for successfully hunting elk on public land.

Jace Bauserman Bowhunting the Prince of the Plains

Editor-In-Chief of Bowhunting World and Archery Business magazines, Jace is a relentless, Western-bowhunting addict who hunts multiple western states each fall. Ultra-fond of the fleet-footed pronghorn, Jace has developed the perfect system for the DIY pronghorn goer. It's one that's found its way into a number of award-winning magazine articles, outdoor-television shows and his book, Bowhunting The Prince of The Plains.

Marc Smith Mule Deer Strategies for Bowhunters

Over the past 20 years, Marc has backpacked and bowhunted all over the west where he's pursued elk, black bear, pronghorn, Rocky Mountain Big Horn and mule deer. Of all the game he pursues, Marc considers mature, high-mountain mule deer bucks to be the pinnacle. He believes no animal is more challenging or rewarding after strapping on a pack with a week’s worth of provisions and heading deep in the Rocky Mountains with nothing more than a bow and arrow. Marc says there is something spiritual about descending a trailhead after a long, grueling week in the Colorado alpine with a set of velvet-covered antlers riding atop a pack full of tasty venison. Marc is an accomplished outdoor writer and seminar speaker and serves on top factory pro-staffs that include the likes of Hoyt, Gold Tip, Badlands and Vortex Optics.

Bob Robb 50 Years of Hits and Misses in Western Hunting

Bob Robb grew up in a small farm town in southern California, where his love of the outdoors was instilled at an early age by his father and grandfather. The former college basketball and baseball player has been a full-time outdoor writer since 1978 and a contributor — and editor —to several prominent hunting magazines down through the years. He's hunted on five continents with both guns and bows, and  also lived 15 years in Alaska, where he held an assistant hunting guide license. The best part of his job, he says, is it allows him to be in the woods between 120-140 days a year. What could be better than that?
