SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources is sponsoring a workshop for women who want to become more active outdoors.
It's called the Becoming an Outdoors Woman Workshop, and it's set for April 11-14 at Tygart Lake State Park in Taylor County.
Women who are at least 18 years old can learn a new outdoor skill at this weekend event, which offers outdoor classes that include archery, shooting, overnight camping, fly tying, fly fishing, self-defense, outdoor cooking, and many other topics. A registration fee of $150 covers lodging, some meals, and some class materials.
