Bird Dog Parade at Pheasants Forever’s Pheasant Fest

A parade of bird dogs kicked off the recently concluded National Pheasant Fest, Pheasants Forever’s annual three-day gathering of upland hunters, sport dog owners and wildlife habitat conservationists.

Held at the Minneapolis Convention Center, this year’s event – which was also a celebration of the PF’s 30th anniversary as a conservation organization, drew over 28,000 attendees.

Attendees visited with hundreds of hunting and conservation related exhibitors and vendors, and attended seminars on topics ranging from bird dog training and habitat management to wild game cooking and shooting techniques and equipment. Rudy’s Youth Village offered kids a chance to learn about the outdoors and conservation through hands-on activities.
