7 New Tactical Products From SHOT Show 2023

Mission First Tactical Belly Band Holsters

MFT is showing a new line of belly bands (pictured above) designed to fix everything you don’t like about belly bands. The 3-D spacer mesh is breathable, machine washable and antimicrobial, and the ends of the band use a self-sealing material so you can easily cut it to fit (one size fits most). The holster pocket will accommodate most pistols (ambidextrous) and features a hard laminate to cover the trigger. Two mag/accessory slots are angled for comfort, and two zipper pouches allow you to carry cash or anything else that fits. MSRP is $49.99.

Bushnell RXM-300

Bushnell’s popular reflex sights are getting an upgrade for 2023 with the introduction of the RXM-300.

It features an impact-resistant housing, speed holes for added durability and presentation alignment, timer, button lockout so you don’t accidentally engage the buttons while racking the gun’s slide, a 3-MOA dot, EXO barrier coatings, a low profile mount or spacers for a higher mount (RMR footprint), auto illumination control, and shake-awake technology. Available mid-year; MAP is right around $300.

Maxim Defense PRS Suppressor

Maxim Defense’s new PRS Suppressor is designed to be lightweight for hunting or for PRS and other competition where every ounce counts. Using a MonoKore three-piece design, it’s fully field-serviceable and easy to clean.

Aluminum construction and a titanium mount bring this in at just 10.8 ounces (7.9-inch overall length). It’s designed for limited rate of fire, not rapid mag-dumps, which is perfect for hunting or competition. Maxim says it brings a 6.5 Creedmoor report down to 132 dB (on an 18-inch bolt-action rifle). Available now; MSRP is $695.

ProTek USMC Collection

ProTek just debuted the official watch of the U.S. Marine Corp, utilizing durable, real-rubber bands in the official Marines colors, featuring tritium illumination that ProTek says will glow for 25 years and does not need to an external light source for recharging.

Designed to be rugged from top to bottom, every single watch is tested in the air and the water (to 300 meters) and powered by the dependable Citizen/Miyota quartz movement with a 10-year battery. The steel screw case back features the USMC logo. They’ll be shipping by the end of January and have an MSRP of $450.

Pelican 1755 Air Case

Pelican introduced the 1755 Air case with a 55x14x8 interior space, quiet-rolling built-in wheels, interior MOLLE bosses for organization, Pick N Pluck foam, stainless steel padlock protectors, Press-and-Pull latches, a waterproof O-ring seal and lightweight construction.

Pelican tells me that fully loaded, the 1755 still comes in under $50 — a serious plus for air travel. It’s waterproof, dustproof and crushproof. MSRP is $420.

OKC Epoch

Ontario Knife Company’s new EDC folder, the Epoch, is designed to be razor-sharp and ultra thin for easy carrying.

It’s less than 4 inches long when closed and about 6.6 inches when open, with a large cutting edge and a lot of backbone, making it extremely strong and versatile. The blade is D2 steel and offers outstanding edge retention. The handle is a combination of G10 and stainless steel, with a built-in clip and a liner lock.

Pyramex Conaire Safety Glasses

Pyramex introduces the Conaire shooting glasses, designed for affordable safety protection in a more modern style that doesn’t scream “eye protection.”

With a black frame and a few lens color options, they offer a cool look with side shields for extra protection, and they come in at less than $10 a pair.
