This past April I drove down to Milner, Georgia to Ranew’s Outdoor Equipment and toured the plant where they make the Firminator. I also turkey hunted a 1,000-acre property owned by Lester Ranew (owner of Ranew’s Outdoor Equipment) and the one thing that I noticed while hunting was how thick and beautiful all of their food plots were.
They clearly took soil samples and amended the soil as needed, but they also had great germination in their plots. They plant all of their plots with the Firminator, which is a food plot implement designed to disc, plant and cultipack all in one machine, which ensures all seeds have excellent seed-to-soil contact — highly important for good seed germination.
After watching the Firminator in action last April I asked the guys to drive up to Borrowed Acres and do a demo for us. Adrian Chapman was kind enough to take me up on the offer and we recently planted our plots with the rock-solid device.
