Grow Better Wildlife Fruit Trees

This past fall we planted 150 fruit and Dunstan chestnut trees from Chestnut Hill Nursery at our Borrowed Acres property. Fall is the ideal time to plant these trees because they are dormant and it gives the roots time to settle and get established. However, as spring brings on warmer temperatures the trees begin to “wake up” and start flowering and sprouting leaves.
