New for 2019: Hoyt RX-3 and Helix

Carbon RX-3

The Hoyt Carbon RX-3 is the next level in the REDWRX line of bows for 2019. Available in three models, the RX-3, RX-3 Ultra and RX3 Turbo, this bow is Hoyt’s quietest and lowest vibration bow to date.

The new parallel track hollow carbon tube design of the Carbon RX-3 creates a wider stance that maintains riser rigidity and stability while redirecting shot vibration away from the grip for a smoother feel. The weight-forward design puts more mass in front of the grip, minimizing shock and maintaining balance throughout the draw.

A patent-pending grip system adjusts left and right laterally for precise tuning and center shot alignment, customizable to different hand shapes and pressure points of individual shooters.

With a redesigned cam and limb system, the RX-3 is even smoother and faster than the RX-1. The all-new ZT Pro Cam balances the side-to-side load with a patent-pending Split-Cable System which eliminates the need for a flexible cable guard. The ZT Pro Cam is fast, and the ZT Pro Turbo Cam, unique to the RX-3 Turbo, is even faster yet.

To increase stealth, Hoyt added a Shock Pods to the riser to eliminate vibration and provide a dead-in-hand feel and nearly silent shot. In addition, the StealthShot string suppression system was upgraded with proprietary material to kill string noise and vibration, while providing a crisper release of the arrow from the string.

The RX-3 is 30.5 inches axle-to-axle, weighs 3.9 pounds and shoots 342 fps. The RX-3 Ultra is 34 inches axle-to-axle, weighs 4.1 pounds and shoots 334 fps. The RX-3 Turbo is 31 inches axle-to-axle, 4 pounds and shoots 350 fps. Available in draw weights of 30-40, 40-50, 50-60, 55-65, 60-70 and 70-80 (RX-3 and RX-3 Ultra only) pounds. Draw lengths for the RX-3 are 25-28 inches or 27-30 inches, for the RX-3 Ultra are 27-30 inches or 29-32 inches, and the RX-3 Turbo are 26-28 inches or 28-30 inches.

The Carbon RX-3 series bows are available in five camo patterns including Realtree Edge, Kuiu Verde 2.0, Gore Optifade Subalpine, Gore Optifade Elevated II and Under Armour Ridge Reaper Barren, as well as two solid colors, Black Out and Storm. MSRP on the RX-3 and RX-3 Ultra is $1,699 and the RX-3 Turbo sells for $1,749.

Helix

The Helix and Helix Ultra are the newest aluminum riser bows from Hoyt. It features the same zero-torque ZT Pro Cam system as the RX-3 series which offers the highest let-off to date from a Hoyt. The Helix series also utilizes the Shock Pods and StealthShot technology to eliminate more noise and vibration than ever before.

The X-Act Grip on the Helix series was fine tuned to provide consistent hand placement to increase consistency and accuracy. An integrated rear stabilizer mount allows for easy use of a rear stabilizer to balance the Helix for extreme accuracy, even at longer distances.

The Helix is 30.5 inches axle-to-axle, weighs 4.3 pounds and shoots 342 fps. The Helix Ultra is 34 inches axle-to-axle, weighs 4.6 pounds and shoots 334 fps. Available with draw weights of 30-40, 40-50, 50-60, 55-65, 60-70 and 70-80 pounds. Available draw lengths for the Helix are 24.5-28 inches and 27-30 inches, while the Helix Ultra is available with 26.5-30 inch and 29-32 inch draw lengths.

The Helix and Helix Ultra are available in five camo patterns including Realtree Edge, Kuiu Verde 2.0, Gore Optifade Subalpine, Gore Optifade Elevated II and Under Armour Ridge Reaper Barren, as well as two solid colors, Black Out and Storm. Both bows sell for $1,199.
