Barnett announces release of six 2018 crossbows

Looking to purchase a crossbow this year? Barnett Crossbows will have six all-new crossbows on display at the annual ATA Trade Show from January 11-13.

These models include the Predator, which Barnett is calling its fastest and most powerful crossbow ever. Features include a full carbon step-through riser, one-off ventilated composite stock, a machined-aluminum flight track, a 187-pound draw weight and a 16.25-inch power stroke. That adds up to speeds of 430 fps and 156 foot-pounds of kinetic energy.

Also new from Barnett are the TS370 and TS390 models, which boast adjustable telescoping stocks. The CarbonliteTM Series has been expanded as well. These models utilize Barnett’s CarbonliteTM Step-Through Riser (STR), which transfers up to 53 percent of the crossbow’s weight from the riser to the stock for rock-solid stability. For 2018, STR include the Predator, the TS390, the Whitetail Hunter Pro STR, the Raptor Pro STR and the Droptine STR.
