The hotline hours will be extended during the youth deer-gun season and prior to and during the deer-gun season.

State officials say many hunters have last-minute questions during the white-tailed deer-gun hunting seasons. The special call center hours include 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on Nov. 23-24 for youth deer-gun season.

The hours for Nov. 30 to Dec. 8 will be 8 a.m.-7 p.m. for deer-gun season.

The hotline will be closed Thanksgiving Day.
