One hunter finds himself within a few feet of a rut-crazed bull.

Video: Elk Bugles In Hunter's Face

A video published on Jay Scott Outdoors' Facebook page reminds us all to proceed with caution during elk season, especially when a hormonal bull responds to your cow call and comes within just a few feet of your location. They're known to have tunnel vision when it comes to mating season, and this video proves that theory. He's on a mission, and he doesn't seem to care that he's sharing the woods with a human.

In the video below, you can see the exact moment when the bull recognizes Scott as a threat, to which Scott responds by speaking to it firmly, but calmly. When bulls have rut on the brain, they can be unpredictable, making this situation a dangerous one to be in.

Near the end of his video, Scott says, "He was too close." While that is true, it did offer an exhilarating hunting experience.

What would you have done in this situation? Let us know in the comment section below.
